COVID19 Protocol Update August 2021
We are #maskingup big time at Eden Salt Studio. With the increasing spread of COVID19, and in particular the Delta Variant, we are taking as many precautions as is feasible for our business to keep you safe.
Please see below for important details on our Mask Policy.
Masks or Face Coverings are REQUIRED for ALL individuals entering Eden Salt Studio regardless of vaccination status.
- For yoga classes, Masks or Face Coverings are required on and off the mat.
- If you would like to practice without a mask in a group yoga class, you must provide proof of vaccination to a member of Eden Salt Studio’s staff (Tori, Leon or Rashunda).
- Masks are not required once you are seated in the Salt Room. We are limiting salt session capacity to 2 people unless they are in the same household/group.
- Masks are not required once you enter the private room for your Infrared Sauna session.
We strongly encourage the use of face masks regardless of vaccination status during your time at Eden Salt Studio per CDC guidance. You will not be asked about your vaccination status but as mentioned above, if you would like to practice yoga without a mask, you must provide a CDC-issued vaccination card. These cards will not be copied or saved at the studio or online.
Does Salt Therapy prevent Coronavirus?
No. Salt therapy does not prevent viruses. Salt is naturally anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial and can improve and strengthen respiratory health and overall health and wellness.
“We’ve been receiving many phone calls and emails regarding salt therapy and the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19).
I want to take time to personally address the current situation and provide you with some perspective, responses, answers, and information that you may want to also share with your family, staff, and customers. Also, get the facts from the CDC and official health agencies as opposed to social media and unverified sources of information.”
“Halotherapy, which is a treatment method applying by be delivered a fine powder to the upper part of the lower respiratory tract of a person, is a natural and reliable therapy method for respiratory infections, asthma, allergic and chronic bronchitis, colds, pharyngitis, rhinitis, tonsillitis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and various skin diseases. Halotherapy has an important place in alternative medicine. Many studies have been carried out on the benefit of Halotherapy, which is considered both Salt Therapy and Cave Therapy, in chronic respiratory diseases. In this context, it is considered that Halotherapy can be useful in the treatment of chronic respiratory diseases of individuals with COVID-19 disease in our study based on these studies. Also, scientific studies are recommended treating patients with COVID-19 in areas where salt therapy and speleotherapy are involved in the treatment of chronic respiratory diseases.”
